No Chak-Hee (Jung Ryeo-Won) was working for a large law firm. She was willing to take any risks to win cases and had become a successful lawyer at the firm. She was being prepared for a promotion to partner, but an issue arose in a case she had accepted. As a result, she was almost suspended for a year. Instead, No Chak-Hee started working as a justice advocate. She hoped to regain her position at the law firm where she had previously worked. As a justice advocate, she shared an office with her colleague, justice advocate Jwa Shi-Baek (Lee Kyu-Hyung).
Jwa Shi-Baek graduated from the Academy of Justice Training and Research as a top student. He had the choice to become a judge, prosecutor, or lawyer at a large law firm, but he chose to become a justice advocate. He was passionate about his work and also had a mysterious aspect in his personal life that no one knew about.
No Chak-Hee and Jwa Shi-Baek didn't get along well, but they became involved in a serial murder case. The victims were wealthy elderly people.
