Hà Thú, Beast in the River (2023) VietSub recounts the mysterious deaths of dozens of workers who drowned in the early years of the Republic of China, causing panic among the people. The lifeless bodies, devoid of any clothing, floated on the river, leading the local priest to confirm the existence of water ghosts and a great danger that the village faced. Police officer Cố Trí Viễn relied on small jobs at the pier to sustain his livelihood and raise his daughter. On this day, the ferocious monster in the river rushed onto the shore, destroying homes and endangering the lives of the villagers, even kidnapping Cố Trí Viễn's daughter. To save his daughter, Trí Viễn joined forces with Đường Tiểu Duy to embark on a journey of redemption and the extermination of the beast.
