The City of Chaos (2019),also known as Hãn Thành VietSub, is a meticulously invested project that has not received much widespread recognition from Vietnamese audiences. Despite being a crime action film with an intriguing and captivating storyline, as well as a star-studded cast, the film quickly made an impact in the Chinese market when it was released on Iqiyi at the end of 2018. For those who are passionate about this genre, this is definitely a must-watch masterpiece.

Directed by the experienced filmmaker Lưu Thù Xảo, Hãn Thành features a talented ensemble cast including Lý Quang Hạo, Lương Văn Khang, Lý Thành Mẫn, Triệu Dương, and Cao Chí Đình. Although they may not be household names in China, they have all been highly praised for their acting abilities.

The film revolves around the journey of Lac Gia, a police officer, as he investigates the largest state-sponsored drug trafficking network in China. After receiving a secret mission from his superiors, he and his special anti-drug task force delve into the dangerous world of rampant opium trading. Soon after, Lac Gia mysteriously disappears, and he voluntarily infiltrates the notorious organization called Thất Tinh in Lankupa to gather intelligence. With his courage and talent, Lac Gia may be able to solve the case.
