Yumi’s Cells (2021) tells the story of Yumi, an ordinary office worker whose every thought, emotion, and action is controlled by the various cells in her brain. Yumi is just an average office worker. After a failed relationship, her love cells fall into a state of coma, and the series depicts Yumi's growth and transformation as her cells work hard to awaken her love cells. GooWoong, a game developer who thinks in a simple "yes or no" algorithm, plays a crucial role. Despite his lack of emotional expression, he awakens Yumi's love cells with his straightforward and honest personality. Ruby is an adorable fool. Although she is a fox when it comes to love and possesses various relationship skills, she is a young, energetic woman who is caring towards others. Sae Yi, on the other hand, is perfect in appearance, skills, and ambition. She dreams of becoming the best art game director and is a character that everyone envies.
