Nobata Nanase, a passionate Rock music enthusiast, lives with her father, Nobata Hakaru, who is the director of a renowned pharmaceutical company. However, their relationship is far from harmonious. One day, Hakaru consumes a drug that temporarily kills him and brings him back to life after two days. He does this in order to uncover the culprit who is attempting to steal from his company. But there is a sinister plot at play, aiming to ensure his permanent demise. As a spirit, Hakaru discovers the dark forces behind it all. Nanase encounters Matsuoka Taku, a timid young man, and they become allies. Will she help her father come back to life and reclaim the company from the clutches of evil?
