Youth Never Returns (2015) is a film adaptation of the online novel "When Duck Feet Meets Water Spinach" by author Cố Vĩ. The movie revolves around the gentle and romantic love story of "country girl" Chau Tue (Tran Kieu An) and "talented singer" Vuong Huy (Truong Han). They meet at a class reunion after both have just finished their military service. Vuong Huy sings the song "Lady in the Small Town" by Dao Triet, which brings back nostalgic memories for Chau Tue and makes her burst into tears. From that moment on, Chau Tue starts developing feelings for Vuong Huy.
