Tình Người Duyên Ma , Pee Mak Prakanong

Pee Mak Prakanong (2013) is a Thai horror-comedy film based on the famous ghost story Mae Nak Phra Khanong. Set in the early period of the Kingdom of Siam, the story revolves around Pee Mak, also known as Mak (Mario Maurer),a young Thai man who is forced to join the military. Like many others, Mak has to leave his young pregnant wife behind. During his time in the army, Mak befriends four comrades - Ter (Nuttapong Chartpong),Puak (Pongsatorn Jongwilas),Shin (Attrarut Khongrasri),and Aey (Kantapat Permpoonpatcharasuk) - and they become inseparable.

After the war ends, Mak invites his four close friends to visit his home in Phra Khanong village. Upon arrival, Mak introduces them to his beautiful wife, Nak (Davika Hoorne),and their newborn son, Dang. Ter, Puak, Shin, and Aey decide to stay for a while and temporarily live in the old house across the river. The next day, Mak is shocked to hear the villagers' rumor that his wife died during childbirth. However, his friends pay little attention to it when they find out that Aunt Priak, the owner of the local tavern, is the one spreading the rumor.

Nevertheless, Aunt Priak's body is found floating along the riverbank a few days later, which leads Ter, Puak, Shin, and Aey to suspect that Nak and the baby might have died and become vengeful spirits in the mortal realm. At first, they are afraid to tell Mak, fearing a similar fate to Aunt Priak. However, their strong bond of friendship and Mak's previous act of saving their lives give them the courage to find a way to protect Mak from Nak's influence.
